Excessive Vibration

If not quickly corrected this situation may cause major damage to the engine and or equipment. It can also be very dangerous to the operator should it be caused by a damaged flywheel. Take caution and have repairs made quickly! Things to check for: Bent Crankshaft (Especially true for rotary style lawn mower's). Damaged Flywheel (missing fins or blades on flywheel). Damaged or warped pulley or sprocket attached to crankshaft. Loose engine mounting bolts. If none of the above are found, you have a problem with internal components designed to balance the engine, which will require some major repair work.
